Big week ahead — and it starts with coffee. Salem Coffee Week kicks off today, with 25 local shops taking part. Grab a passport, get it signed or punched as you go, and visit four shops to earn your ticket to the Latte Art Party on Thursday, August 7.

Then we're closing the week loud: a FREE Coffee Rave on Saturday, August 8 from 10AM–1PM at Florfe Café (4771 Lancaster Dr NE, Suite 120), with DJ Hit N Runn on the decks, great coffee, and more. Please RSVP so we can plan for the crowd — and bring your friends, the more the merrier.

The annual Miss Vogue Pageant returns with five stages of competition, including talent, fantasy costume, evening gown, and more, all centered around this year's colorful circus theme.

The Dueling Hobbits bring the music of Elton John and Billy Joel to life in an interactive evening of singalongs, audience requests, and piano-fueled fun.

Sat, Aug. 8 | 6PM

Conjure returns with an expanded night market featuring local artists, makers, performers, and immersive fantasy-inspired experiences throughout the evening.

Championships are on the line as Portland Wrestling returns to Salem for an action-packed night featuring many of the Pacific Northwest's top wrestling stars.

Chicago comedian Eric Oren brings his fast-paced stand-up to Salem for a special preview of brand-new material, with an opening set from Tony Meyer.

From the producers of The Magic Mike Experience comes this high-energy female revue featuring dance, music, and entertainment for an unforgettable night out.

Bingo gets a party makeover with throwback music, comedy, outrageous prizes, and plenty of audience participation in this one-of-a-kind interactive show.

Mark your calendars! The Englewood Forest Festival returns next Saturday for a free day of art, nature, music, and community in one of Salem's most beautiful parks.

Explore more than 80 vendors, enjoy live performances across two stages, grab a bite from local food vendors, and take part in hands-on activities for all ages. From aerial trapeze and butterfly crafts to wildlife education and local artists, there's something around every corner.

Bring the whole family and celebrate summer surrounded by the beauty of Englewood Park. 🌿🎶🎨

On High Oregon takes over Riverfront Park for a full day of live music featuring Slightly Stoopid, Big Boi, The Elovaters, DENM, Chali 2na and Chris Karns. The all-ages festival also includes vendors, food, and plenty of summer atmosphere. Kids ages 6 and younger are free with a paid guardian.

Can't wait for the festival to begin? Kick off the weekend at the official On High pre-party featuring COLOSO and Iron Prophecy on Fri, July 31 at 8PM at the Historic Grand Theatre. Tickets are $20.

Want to keep the celebration going? Head back to the Grand after the festival for an unofficial afterparty with Sol Seed on Sat, Aug. 1 from 10PM–1AM. Tickets are $10, or free with an On High wristband until 11PM.

Bring a blanket or low-back chair and enjoy a free summer concert featuring The Druthers and Idea the Artist at the Gerry Frank | Salem Rotary Amphitheater. Food will also be available during the event.

Dress for the islands and enjoy a tropical night featuring food and drink specials, reggaeton, tropical house, and laid-back island rhythms. Beach attire is encouraged.

Downtown Salem's Summer Block Party takes over the Salem Center Mall with local vendors, shopping, a bounce house, foam parties, a DJ, princess appearances, fire juggling, and more. Visitors can also complete activities at participating downtown businesses for a chance to win prizes.

The celebration continues inside Salem Center with a comic swap featuring comics, trading cards, collectibles, vintage toys, and more. 

Travel back to the 2000s with a night of reggaeton, rap, and house music from DJ Sticky Ohm. Come dressed in your favorite Y2K-inspired outfit and enjoy themed food and drink specials while dancing the night away.
