What’s Happening Salem is presented by
Bonjour~
Is that too cosmopolitan for little ol’Salem? Just kidding - I was learning French for a while, but paused. I may go back to it, if anyone has suggestions on apps or books to read. This time of year, it’s best to pick up another indoor hobby, yknow?
This week’s newsletter edition is full of November events that are not Thanksgiving or Christmas-holiday oriented. That will be next week. Don’t groan or look away! We have to keep you all coming back for more, no? I jest, but hopefully you will thoroughly look through all the events I’ve tee’ed up for you - there are so many amazing art and theatre events, this city knows how to spend time wonderfully indoors.
Putting together my own calendar,
Em Chan
Holiday decorations taking over your garage—and you're already dreading where to put everything in January? Another year of playing Tetris with your stuff isn't sustainable.
Enter Statesman Storage in the historic Statesman Journal building downtown, where premium storage doesn't feel like settling for a sketchy warehouse on the outskirts of town.
What makes them different:
465 temperature-controlled units (5x5 to 10x30)—your holiday decorations, seasonal gear, and important items stay protected year-round
24/7 secure access with surveillance—grab what you need when you need it, not when it's convenient for someone else
Coffee bar and snacks in the office—because storage pickup shouldn't feel like a chore
Online rental and bill pay—manage everything without awkward office visits
