Podcast Topic Ideas
What topics would you most like to see us explore on the podcast?
Community Meet Up
Would love to plan a meet up with this group.
When and Where should we meet??
Hi, Great idea. My branch has a large and small conference room available. This can be used anytime you need it.
Salem Community
What's happening(Has this been copyrighted yet? Just kidding.) Salem Community. I am a 25 year Salemite and am happy to be a part of this community.
I think the best days of this community are ahead of us and I am excited to see it happen.
Appreciate you being here! I agreed. What does that look like for you?
Salem Shines
Hello, all you Salemites. I'm happy to see local involvement in the community. We need more talent to rise and help this city become more than a footnote to Portland.
Love it Derrick. I agree. Appreciate you being here.
To the Ceiling Entertainment Story
I'm working on a story about to the ceiling entrainment, and am curious what questions you have about it.
Let me know and I'll do my best to find answers.
I'd like to know how people are being effected that bought tickets for events that haven't happened yet, which won't now. Are the ticket places giving refunds?!
Why join a community and then not say hi?
Genuinely curious.
Everyone doing okay?
I was thrown off by the locked categories. You asked us to introduce ourselves but the Introduction category is for paying subscribers only. Having just 1 feed for intros, articles, questions and everything else becomes daunting incredibly fast, thus, a lack of involvement. Just my $0.02.
Registration is open for Festival Chorale Oregon's fall term.
No audition nessesary - we rehearse on Tuesday evenings.
This looks like an amazing place to great content. Tom, can you shoot me a message? I'd love to learn more about it.
This app
Wondering if anyone else is having trouble seeing what is posted by the authors of WHS in this app. I can see what individuals post but not the actual "What's Happening" events. I can read events in the email newsletter but not on this app. Anyone else??
Just got off a call with Beehiiv. Turns out this is a known issue, but they are expecting a fix by EOW
Introduction
Hi, I'm Melissa Gruis-Dutoit. I serve as the Community Branch Manager at First Interstate Bank's Hawthorne branch and have worked in the banking and mortgage industry for more than 25 years.
Originally from La Grande, Oregon, I moved to Salem in 1986 and have enjoyed being part of this community ever since. I joined this site because I love meeting new people, volunteering, and exploring new opportunities. I'm excited to connect with others, share experiences, and discover new ideas and activities around Salem.
